Bifrost Media Distribution is a Singapore-based content distribution house connecting international content with broadcasters, channels and platforms worldwide — licensing across Asia, Latin America and beyond. We operate at the point where deals are made.

A deep, decades-old sourcing-and-sales network on one side, and an original-content engine on the other — under one roof.

Founded in 2019, Bifrost is version 2.0 of a distribution practice built over more than thirty years. It carries forward the relationships, library knowledge and broadcaster trust developed through Hub Media Asia — and re-platforms that heritage as the dedicated distribution arm of Oceanus Media Global, paired with OMG’s original IP, animation and AI-enabled production studio.

2007

Hub Media Asia founded

A TV content and feature-film distributor representing producers across Asia, Europe and the US — with a library including “Stories of My Childhood,” the Hollywood classic “Papillon,” the Sandra Carter library and the 3D animation series “Shelldon.”

2007–13

Multi-year broadcaster contracts

A run of multi-year distribution agreements — cumulatively worth over US$25 million — supplying free-TV, cable and satellite platforms internationally.

2013

Acquired by Asiasons

Hub Media attracted strong investor interest and was acquired by Asiasons — listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Stock Exchange — at a valuation of over US$26 million.

2019

Bifrost Media relaunch

The distribution practice rebuilt from first principles — and, despite launching into the COVID period, secured a portfolio of international distribution and licensing deals across multiple territories.

2026

The OMG alliance

Bifrost becomes the dedicated distribution arm of Oceanus Media Global — original IP, animation and an AI-enabled studio meet decades of broadcaster access.

Kevin Balhetchet brings more than 35 years of experience in licensing, business development and content distribution at regional and international levels. Before founding Hub Media Asia and Bifrost Media, he held senior roles at The Walt Disney Company and Pearson Television International.
